Long Way to Go

Last Tuesday, father and daughter went on a long drive back and forth Quezon City and Cavite. We went to grab my dorm things back. Pretty soon I'll be doing the same thing with my things in Rizal.

It makes us sad, mom and I. We don't have our own rooms in Cavite. We have small spaces. We used to live in two separate rooms, which were very much like our own offices. I'd arrive home and strip everything and not worry if anyone will see me. Now I have to cover up all the time. Most of all, I had to line up for Internet at the local computer shop (hello!).

I'd like to think these are temporary, but the fact that I do, makes me confused. Haha. I really wanted to have my own space, although I'll cherish the mornings I'd wake up to my door being opened (heh no privacy), listen to my parents tease each other, getting free rides to other places and of course having manay to do the cooking and cleaning.

I don't want to be the grown up who lives with her parents. But I'll take my sweet time at least for now. Hopefully I'll be out of the nest by next year. :)
