Goodbye, Teenager

I'm not your average good student.

This morning I printed all 97 pages of my thesis, ran off to have it ring-bound and then took two consecutive exams ~none of which I have read even a line with to review.

Am I disappointed in my senior self? Well, my grade-conscious freshie self would have. My older self would probably think she earned bragging rights.

17... 18... 19... ?

In a matter of hours, I will be turning twenty, which is middle-aged for my ten-year-old self ten years ago.

Other people try to say it's "twenteen" but I have no trouble about age. Doesn't matter if I spent my last teenaged hours in academic tribulation.

Twenty will be so much better. :)

And also!

Congratulations buddy!
Who knew we'd be there for each other's graduations?
At least she promised to be in mine and that's enough!

Friendship is amazing, especially when you know who will truly stay.

Next stop: marriage!
Haha, NOT. :))
